Martial Law

I liked the poem because it gives me an idea of what Martial Law of Ferdinand Marcos looks liked and to make me look back when the Martial Law is still exists. Even I have an idea and my idea is all about war, now I know that I was wrong. It made me feel sad and thankful that I can’t experience the Martial that many people killed because they can’t follow the rules of the government. And also I feel guilty because I admit that not responsible and obedient enough to my parents especially if they gave me a task. The message that I got from the poem is we need to follow the rules because it is all about good. As a student, I need to follow the rules and policies of my parents and I know that I’m the one who will be beneficial for being a good follower of my parents. My appreciation is affected because before, I don’t know what is the true appreciate the effort of my leader like my parents. The poem has a big impact on me because of this poem I interested in the history of Martial Law. I experienced that I go to the hallway and ask some grandparents about Martial Law. The thing that I know that Martial Law is all about killed is wrong. The truth is our Father Ferdinand Marcos wants the Filipino to a discipline people. We need to change our perspective that Martial Law is more on killing. Let’s give a chance that the good side will be shown to us.
